2. Can I hire the Courses Room for a birthday party?

8. How accessible is The Courses Room

You can read our Accessibility Statement here. If you have a specific query which is not covered by this document then please contact us.

9. Who is responsible for cleaning up after my event?

10. Will you help me promote my event?

It is ultimately your responsibility to promote and market your event. However, we can help by adding you to the ‘What’s On’ page of the Cedar Farm website.

Once your booking has been confirmed you can send us details of your event by email for inclusion on the website.

Your workshop or event may also be included on the Cedar Farm social media channels and monthly newsletter.

You’re welcome to put printed posters and flyers in the communal areas around Cedar Farm.

11. What happens if I need to cancel or re-arrange my class or workshop?

Room bookings are to be paid in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable. However, if the room is subsequently re-let we will refund you, minus a £15 fee to cover our administration costs. If you think you may need to change your booking please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

12. Do I need my own insurance?

Yes, it is the responsibility of the responsible person/organisation to ensure that adequate insurance cover exists for all the activities for which the room is hired.

13. What time can I access the room from?

If you are hiring the room for a full day you can access the room from as early as you like on the day of your workshop.

If you are hiring the room for a part day (3.5 hour) slot, you can only access the room at the start of your session time and must have vacated the room no later than the end of your session time.

The 30-minute break between sessions is to allow time for the room to air, and to avoid group participants clashing at the end and start of sessions. Any set up / clearing away time needs to be done within your session time. If you will need longer than this, it is recommended you book a full day.

14. Once I’ve booked The Courses Room what happens next?

Once we have approved your booking, you will receive an email to confirm the date and time of hire and instructions for paying.

We will send further instructions by email with access information, housekeeping rules and to request images and information so your event can be added to the Cedar Farm website.
